I understand ZERO Mandarin. But I was telling my BF that for me, musical is universal. You don't need to understand what they're saying to get it, you know? (And then I proceeded to tell him that no, I didn't buy a Mandarin phrase book just so I could learn to understand the guys on interviews a little...)
