What programme do I use to open the files? My laptop can't seem to recognise them, and neither can our shared computer.

(pets) You're not a pest at all. Basically, the files are split to make them easier to upload onto various host sites. What your going to want to do is download HJSplit (http://www.freebyte.com/hjsplit/) and open the program (just an FYI, the version I have has the .exe file in a winrar file so you might need winrar or winzip to open it up). Once the program is open, click on the "Join files" option, then find the file that has the ending ".001". As long as all the files are in the same folder, the program will recognize them and it will automatically join them together. Once that's finished, open the .avi file with the program of your choice (I myself prefer VLC media player) and enjoy!

Sorry to bother you again... I turns out I'm still having problems DX I've got three media players and none of them can seem to play it properly. Two refuse to recognise it at all, and the other gives me audio but no visual. Would you have any idea why? They should all play .avi files so I'm at a bit of a loss ><"

No problem at all! Try downloading VLC Media Player (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/). I know for a fact it works for mine. It's possible that the reason your other players don't work is because it's reformatted to be .avi. Give that a try and let me know how it goes.

This probably won't work, but have you tried it in Real Media or Real Alt? It was originally an rmvb file so it's possible there's some weird glitch from the reformatting.

I haven't been able to get hold of realplayer, I don't have any admin powers on our computer with internet access *grumbles about lack of wireless signals to piggy-back* I just downloaded Real Alt, I'll try it out once I can get to my laptop.

It was just Hikaru Only Shinig Star -- there was only a permium download prompt for Luxe IV so I just left it alone XD

It worked in RealAtl.

erm, one question? How long is Hikaru Only Shining Star meant to be? VCL and RealAlt both give me different numbers.

I've never watched mine the whole way through so it might be something with my video. When does the audio and visual stop working? Also, did you download all parts and join them together with HJSplit?
